Welcome to our practice website

Welcome to Market Lavington Surgery. We hope you take your time to browse our website where you will find lots of useful information about the surgery and the services we offer.

Market Lavington Surgery aims to provide professional health care to the patients in our community. Our team of partners and staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. We strive to offer a wide variety of patient-centred services within a supportive and caring environment.

Accessible Information Standard

Market Lavington Surgery is fully compliant with the new Accessible Information Standard which recently came into force. One element of this is to provide people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss with information that they can easily read or understand and to make sure people get information in different formats, for example in large print or via a British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter.

All organisations that provide NHS care are required to follow the new standard, including NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts and GP practices. Please click the link to find out how to make changes to the font and colour of the surgery website so that it is easier for you to use.

Coronavirus (Covid-19)

If you have any concerns that you may have coronavirus or have been in contact with someone that has been diagnosed with coronavirus DO NOT go to a GP surgery, community pharmacy or hospital. Stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people. Visit our coronavirus information in ‘Surgery news’.
The UK Government has set out a roadmap for the clinically extremely vulnerable on the future of the shielding programme.
For now, the guidance remains the same – stay at home and only go outside to exercise or to spend time outdoors with a member of your household, or with one other person from another household if you live alone – but the guidance will change on 6 July and again on 1 August , based on clinical evidence.
Shielding and other advice to the clinically extremely vulnerable has been and remains advisory.
Please view our Surgery Covid-19 page.
